Thanks!

Jay Gee's Nook has a new challenge on its blog - Challenge #18

Love the collage of pictures but the one that stood out for me is the center picture -the plate setting.
Wow! the green chevron with the aqua side plate on the beautifully shaped plate.
So inspired by it, I made my card.

Supplies:
Cardstock: Stampers Select White, Fine Linen and Hawaiian Shores from PTI
Stamp Sets: Daily Designs and sentiment from PTI, Geo Graphic from Paper Smooches
Inks: Garden Green from SU, Archival Jet Black ink
Accessories: Spellbinders label #4 die, circle punch, rhinestones from Kaisercraft and Bookprint impression plate from PTI

To make my card, I used the latest sketch from Retro Sketches - Sketch #6 .

I flipped the sketch vertically and used the traditional card base instead of a square card base. Love this sketch. So versatile.

If you like to play along the challenges then I have the linked both of them. Check them out. They are cool and very inspiring :)

Thanks for stopping by!

This is a beautiful card Gayatri! And although it is such a clean and simple design there are so many gorgeous elements to look at, from the embossed background, to the chevron stripes and the sparkly green diamantes ... I love all of these little elements!

Super, Gayatri! I love your gem placement, it's the perfect finishing touch to a beautiful card. (I also like that one rounded corner). :-)
