Hey everybody,
There is a brand new sketch at CAS(E) this Sketch Challenge Blog.
This is one awesome sketch from Karolyn Loncon.
I say awesome sketch because this sketch helped me get my mojo back. I have been struggling to get creative for past few days. I was blank to be honest. Totally lost it. So today after help from few friends on Facebook, I put some loud music on my computer, cleaned my desk, printed this sketch and made a Christmas card. Here is my take on the sketch.
The pattern paper is from My Mind's Eye last year's Christmas collection. The beautiful big Poinsettia is from Uniko Studio's Pure Florals: Poinsettia Stamp Set. Rhinestones from Kaisercraft This card does not look CAS but it took me 15 minutes to get it all together. The most time I spent was colouring the Poinsettia and cut it out. Rest was just trimming the papers, stamping the sentiment and assembling them all together.
Yes, I have started making Christmas cards. I have a huge amount to make this time. School fete stall, friends and family, shop and classes. That is going to be a LOT of Christmas cards. So I am starting early. This is as early as it can get for me.
Ok! I am rambling a lot. I will stop it now. Check out CAS(E) this Sketch Blog for more inspiration. and play along the sketch.
Thanks for stopping by!
Ta!
