Winnie & Walter's April/May 2015 release - Day #3

Yay!, Welcome back folks!

Today is day #3 of Winnie & Walter's April/May new release preview.
Here is Day #1 and Day #2  previewed projects.

Today, we are previewing In Bloom: Addie’s Garden stamp set. Two new cutaways:  In Bloom: Maggie’s Roses Cutaways and The Big, the Bold and Extras Cutaways.

My projects today showcases my favourite stamp set in this release In Bloom Addie's Garden. On my card below, I did the whimsical watercolouring.

You are precious Day 3

I simply stamped the flowers and leaves around the edges of the watercolour paper with Archival black ink. This is waterproof ink. Then I randomly watercoloured the flowers and leaves with Zig Tambi watercolour. I also did some spatters of black. I just love this whimsical watercolouring  which is undefined and uncontrolled and black outline of the flowers which is defined and controlled. So now there is balance Haha!

you are precious flat

The sentiment is from My Precious stamp set to be previewed tomorrow. I then trimmed the panel and adhered on the card base using foam adhesives. Finally accented with Sparkly Clear sequins from Pretty Pink Posh.

This is my second project using In Bloom: Addie's Garden.

Hugs card

On this card, I stamped and white heat embossed the flowers and leaves from Addie's Garden on watercolour paper. Then watercoloured the images in the traditional way within the lines. Once dry  I adhered the panel to the card front. Then diecut a black frame using rectangle dies. I popped the frame on the card front with sentiment from The Big, the Bold and Friend stamp set heat embossed. No card of mine is finished without Pretty Pink Posh sequins. Again I have used Sparkly Clear sequins.

Hope you are enjoying projects using the new release stamp sets from Winnie & Walter.

You have such a way with color, Gayatri. Funny, I went with that "black outline plus sloppy watercolor = good design" idea too! I love how those fabulous leaves (I've loved them since BB and Extra) pop off the page in that bright green.
