Diggin on Damask

I made this card  for Diggin on Damask challenge on Moxie Fab World.
Here is the card for you.

The challenge says to use Damask in a innovative way. This card is a Diwali card. Diwali is festival of lights. I have tried to use Damask as the light from a lamp. Hope I make sense! Am I?

Here is a  picture of Indian Lamp called Diya and I have tried to achieve it using Damask.
The damask and the paddy are rubons. And the sentiment and diecut is from PTI. The cardstock is SU's Poppy Parade. I love the clean result of the card. Thanks for the challenge. It made me think outside the box.

Have a great day!
Luv!
