CASEStudy & CASology Challenges

Good Morning!

Woohoo! It is Saturday. One week has gone by since school started. Children are sleeping in. I thought I better start my day with a nice cup of Nespresso and blog.
I made this card real quick yesterday morning but couldn't blog until today. Hubs was at home and we decided to do some sorting and cleaning. Then we went to watch the T20 Cricket finals match between Perth and Hobart. Yay! Perth won :) So here I am today sharing this my card. I made this card for two challenges - CASEStudy #177 and CASology #81.

The CASE Study challenge #177 muse is Danielle Flanders. I am a big fan of Danielle. So I played along especially because her muse card has black, white, vellum, gold and glitter (Big smile!). CASology #81 theme is "and" I have been wanting to use Ampersand die from PTI for a long time. So here is the chance to use it.
Here are the challenges for you.

Here is my card for both the challenges.

Mr. & Mrs. Card

I spattered Mr. Huey black and gold on the white cardstock and dried with heat gun. I then die cut the congrats die from MFT on the white cardstock and the negative of the diecut is adhered to the adhesive sheet and added gold glitter. The big Ampersand from PTI is so lovely. I die cut and stamped it. Adhere it in the middle of the "congrats" using foam adhesive. Stamped Mr. and Mrs. I then accented with vellum hearts and gold heart sequins from Pretty Pink Posh. Loved the result. This is my favourite colour combination - classic and elegant. Here is the closeup of the card to see all the glitter and shine.

CASology-Dessert!

Hey everybody,

Sharing a card I made for CASology Challenge -  Dessert!

Here is my card. I love desserts especially cupcakes. Yum!

I have stamped the outline of the cupcakes using masking technique. Then stamped the sprinkles using colour inks. And continued the spatter of colours using gelatos. CAS card in less than 10 minutes. Here is a closeup!

CASology-Drink!

G'morning!

Thursday here in Australia.  It is a partly cloudy this morning. Loving it. Slept in and just now having my morning coffee. I thought I will blog before I start ironing clothes. Not my favourite chore to do but needs to be done today.

I have a card share for you today. I made this card for CASology challenge-Drink!

My friend Lou sent me this stamp set from MFT a white ago and I didn't have a chance to ink it until now. This challenge was perfect to crack open this set and use. Thanks Lou!

I coloured using copics and found it very relaxing for me. Love the colour combination. Those enamel dots are my favourite next to bling.

Now off to iron clothes:(

Sending Warm Wishes

Hi everybody,

G' Morning! Just work up. Sitting with a cup of strong coffee. I thought I will blog early because today is a bit busy with music lessons, running errands, organising to sell my furnitures in my current house.

I am sharing a card for CASology Challenge #14 - Leaf

This is a card for the challenge.

The leaves are stamped using rock n roll techniques and various autumn colours. Then fussy cut them out and adhere using glue dots. The leaves are from Leaf Prints stamp set from Papertrey Ink. The sentiment is from Made with Love Hero Arts. I have added glossy accents on te leaves and on the card front to mimick dew drops. Love the scatter of leaves. Hope you do too.

Thanks for stopping by.
Make sure you drop by tomorrow for the start of a brand new challenge:)

CASology - Green!

Good Morning!

I have a card for this week's CASology challenge #7 - Green

Here is my card.

I have used All Things Grow stamp set from AnnaBelle Stamps for my card. And for the green background, I used distress markers. I have used Peeled Paint, Shabby Shutters and Crushed Olive markers on my acrylic block and misted them with water and stamped on my white panel. That gave me the ombre background and the black silhouettes stamped on it.  It is nearly a one layer card. Love this stamp set from from AnnaBelle Stamps for its delicate silhouette images.

Thanks for stopping by!

See you soon.

Hoppy Birthday!

I recently bought a stamp set from Lawn Fawn called Critters Down Under. Living down under, how can not have this set?  Today I had a chance to break it open and use it.

I also had about 3 hours this afternoon. So I coloured. I am not an expert in colouring. But I can definitely colour within the lines lol! Here is my card for the challenge.

Supplies:
Cardstock: White cardstock from Wplus9
Stamp Set: Critters Down Under from Lawn Fawn
Inks: Memento Black ink
Accessories: Copic markers.
I love that little Kookaburra. He is so cute. I used the tree side ways as a branch and gave some movement to the card by adding falling leaves. Love how this card turned out.

I certainly had a great three hours this afternoon. Managed to make 4 cards. I decided I will make one Christmas card everytime I sit to craft. That way I have enough cards by November. I started today. One Christmas card made and many yet to come:)

Thanks for stopping by!
See you soon.
