Verve stamp World Card Making Day Challenge #1

I found Verve Stamp challenges for World Card Making Day yesterday. There are 5 lovely sketches by the way. No need to use Verve stamps. So if you are interested in participating, then check it out here.
Here is the first sketch

Here is my take on the first sketch.

I have used felt trees  for the two long elements and a small sentiment panel for the square element. Added texture on the background by embossing and inking lightly. I also added tiny snowflakes to the textured background.Looks cute isn't it?  Buttons as ornament on the tree. And a ribbon to tie it all together. I took the  unconventional approach of using the sketch. Hope its ok!

Supplies;
Cardstock: PTI's Scarlet Jewel
DSP: Kaisercraft
Stamp set: PTI's Christmas Signature Greetings and Places Please
Accessories: SU's Vintage Wallpaper embossing folder, Colorbox rustic inks, PTi's Scarlet jewel ribbon, SU's tag die, SU's wide oval punch, PTI's Vintage Autumn mix buttons and thread from my stash.

Thanks for stopping by. If I have some time tonight I can make use of another sketch and make a card. The sketches are lovely.

Cheers!
