Taylored Expressions August release sneak peek day #1

Hello and welcome to Taylored Expressions August release!

In today sneak peek, I am sharing Halloween Cards showcasing an embossing folder and dies.

First up. I have two cards showcasing the new embossing folder called Damask Embossing folder.

Love the intricate damask pattern in the folder. I have used the folder with some new and old Taylored Expressions products to make couple of cards.

Here is first card.

I created a halloween scene on my card using the Damask embossing folder as the background wall with the fire place created using By the Fireside die set and critters from Critters in Costumes stamp set and coordinating dies. I embossed Plum Punch cardstock from Taylored Expressions using the Damask embossing folder and sponged the new Plum Punch and Jelly Donut ink from Taylored Expression. This adds depth to the embossed panel.

I then die cut the fire place using Oreo and Pumpkin cardstock and the new By the Fireside die set. I sponged the new Sugar Cube Pigment ink on the black die cut to make it look old. I added some ghost sequins from Build a Scene Halloween sequins collection.

Finally I stamped, copic coloured and die cut the critters from Critters in Costume Stamp set an coordinating dies. I brushed them with clear shimmer using Spectrum Noir clear shimmer pen. I then added a few bat sequins from the same Halloween sequins collections.

My second card also uses the damask embossing folder as background also.

For this card, I embossed Sugar Cube card panel using the Damask embossing folder. Sponged the new Plum Punch, Jelly Donut and Oreo Taylored Expressions inks leaving the centre of the panel lighter than the edges.

For the focal point, I die cut a frame using a die from Frame in Frame cutting plate in Oreo cardstock, layered on grey vellum panel, trimmed the edges. On the centre, I stamped, copic coloured and die cut the cat image from the new Critters in Costume stamp set and coordinating die. I brushed the image with clear shimmer using Spectrum Noir clear shimmer pen. I added some banner from Skinny Mini Party Border dies. The sentiment is from the new Boo to You stamp set. Finally embellished with sequins from Build a Scene Halloween sequins collection.

The next new product I am showcasing today are new dies called Spooky Clouds and Little Bits: Moon and Stars.

The card front is covered with the striped pattern paper from the new Playful Pattern Haunted pattern paper pack. Then I layered the card front with a white card panel. I added a rectangle frame using Peapod cardstock die cut using Stitched Frame Stacklets 1.

For the focal point, I stamped and white heat embossed Mason Jar image on Oreo cardstock, die cut using the coordinating die. The inside scene is created using sponging Taylored Expressions inks, Oreo, Plum Punch and Pumpkin. I then die cut the Spooky Clouds using grey vellum and moon and stars using Sugar Cube cardstock. I also die cut the Tomb Stones and Bats using Haunted Accessories using Oreo cardstock. I layered and adhered all the die cut on the sponged background along with some ghost sequins from Build a Scene Halloween sequins collection. I wrapped and tied a bow using orange twine. The sentiment is from Boo to You stamp set, stamped on a Stitched Tag from Stitched Tag Stacklets.
