It is a Big day for CAS-ual Friday!


Welcome everybody,
It is a special day for CAS-ual Friday Challenge Blog today!
 CAS-ual Friday Challenge Blog is celebrating its FIRST BIRTHDAY! 

HAPPY BIRTHDAY CAS-ual Friday! 

And Congratulations Michele Gross!

And it is my first gig as a Design Team member at CAS-ual friday as well. I am excited :)

There is always celebrations with Birthdays, right? It is no different for us at CAS-ual Friday.
We are celebrating our first birthday with lots of new prizes.

Simon Say Stamp Store has been very generous and are sponsoring a lot of prizes this week.

In addition to the normal $25 prize for the winner (who will also be our guest designer in June), they have provided a darling stamp set for each of the VIPs  

AND  a set to be given to a random commenter on the CAS-ual Fridays blog! 

AND a set to be given to a random commenter on the CAS-ual Fridays facebook page!!! 

Well over $100 in prizes being given in honor of our birthday!

Of course it will a Birthday Theme :) Easy to make a card and participate, right?
 Cannot wait to see what you come up with. Remember this week is also Guest Designer Challenge week.

Here is my take on the challenge.


Supplies: 
Cardstock: Stampers Select White from PTI, Tempting Turquoise from SU
Stamp set: Hooray from Hero Art/Studio Calico and Big Greeetings from MFT
Inks: Tempting Turquoise, Poppy Parade, Old Olive from SU and Archival Jet Black Ink

Ah...I love your design Gayatri...the score lines at the bottom are a fabulous little extra and really help highlight the gorgeous banners!

Incredible debut, Gayatri! Those flags are fantastic, and I'm smitten with the scored lines under the sentiment that mirror the flag-poles.

Gayatri - I love the color combination you've used here. Those banners look fantastic against the white, and I love the blue peeking out at the top and bottom. Great debut card!
