Inspired by Pinterest

Hello everybody,
How is the New Year treating you? It has been good so far except I am bored doing the same things over and over again everyday. I would love a break. But cannot see any coming though!
One thing I don't get bored doing is craft. So I browsed through my Pinterest board and found an inspirational picture and made cards using it. Here is inspirational picture.

Looks so modern and pretty. I love cloud like effect on it, the Eiffel tower and the stamps too. Love the plane but I don't have a small plane stamp on me.
I tried distress ink and mini mister technique on my panel. Then stamped a few stamps on it and here is how my panel looked like

Panel1

I did a horizontal panel as well.

Panel2

Now using these panels I made my cards. This the vertical card.

Valentine's card 2012

This is the horizontal card.

Valentine's card 2012

I love how they turned out. Many layers of stamps give depth to panel. I used about 4 different set of stamps from four different companies. Here are the list of supplies.

Supplies:
Cardstock: Papertry Ink Cream cardstock. SU's Watercolour paper.
Inks: Fired Brick, Worn Lipstick and Antique Linen DIstress Inks, SU's Basic Black and Memento Black Ink.
Stamp Set: Postmarks from Papertrey Ink, Spring Post from Wplus9, First Class Friend from MFT and Artistic Etchings from SU.
Accessories: Twine from Doodlebug, Paper roses from Prima Marketing.

I have a mini blog hop coming up tomorrow. So make sure you tune in :)
Have a great evening!

These are magnificent! I think your cards have out shone the inspiration pic. Amazing dimension in both cards. The addition of the flowers in each are so charming. You've really inspired me today. So lovely.
